Joy wrote: I have a boat at Canyon Lake and we always put a life jacket on Appa the Basenji. Recently, my son & Appa went hiking the rocks at Canyon Lake.  Appa always wears his life jacket for boating & land adventures. It is a bright yellow & serves two purposes:
1. We can pull him out of the water if he falls off the boat
2. It's easier to see Appa when hiking as his a red & white coat blends so well into the landscape.
    Without his jacket, he would be difficult to see!
